I am curious if anyone here has ever seen a ghost, friendly or otherwise and what happened?
I was thinking of checking out these haunted sites, but the one has a warning that it was pretty bad.

One of the worst things with ghosts is the effect they have on your mind. That can start even before you see them or their physical effects. If you head starts to feel dizzy, fuzzy, smothered and you feel violated in some weird way then it's a bad one and you should leave. But if you're anything like me then you'll feel sick first and know that something is wrong. If anyone you're with starts to act like the're not themselves then you should get them out of there. As long as you don't get spooked and you're wary from the start you should be alright. The more daylight, people and electrical lighting are present, the less ghosty things happen.

The most important thing is to not get obsessed with ghosts.

Do spirits or ghosts exsist? I tend to believe they do. However I haven't seen or felt any such presence myself. Others claim they have. But, there is the problem. You would sound a bit crazy to people if you say something about an encounter. So if you should see or sense one. Keep it to yourself. Just a friendly word of caution.

I learned that the hard way. The only time to tell ghost tales is when there were third-parties there who also witnessed actual ghosty events with you. Even then, keep it for campfire story time.

We all have spirit guides. Some may call them angels or ? They guide you/advise you daily. It's just whether you choose to "listen". I'm not saying anything beyond that.

...I went to the areas, but one was private and people were around to call the police if I should happen to trespass and the other I couldn't find. I think I will concentrate on the urban speleology and photos of thus.

You should visit MacLoughlin House in Oregon City. The tour guides say that the spirits of John MacLoughlin and some Indians (native American) can sometimes bee seen or felt.

I interact with Ghosts all the time. They're easier to get along with, than live people.

I'm about the only one in my family who [/]doesn't[/i] see ghosts. My sister in particular has a serious sixth sense thing going on, I turned mine off at a very early age apparently. I figure a lot of younger kids can explain voices and images in their heads as 'imaginary friends', it's only when you're 15 and STILL seeing people, that most parents get worried, but since everyone in my family's got it, we just let it develop... Now she's like fecking Yoda at times...

i never understood why ghosts hang around earth and scare people/ and how come they don't know there dead? i mean if i was dead i think i would know it. and i highly doubt that they cant know the difference because being dead is just like being alive. i'd be flying through space or something or traveling for free to all those places i wanted to go but couldn't afford to when i was alive hah

What IS a ghost?

It doesn't have to be a dead person does it? Can parts of living people separate from themselves to influence others in another place?

According to my afforementioned sister, a ghost is a spirit, a discarnate soul, they can be good or bad, we all have good spirits that protect us from the bad ones, usually loved ones, people we may never have known conciosuly but who have an benevolent interest in us, evil spirits are basically people who were bad in life who can't think of anything better to do in death than go around making other people as miserable as they are. Or at least that's what she says.
