Last night I dreamt that I was writing a story but was also inside it. In the story, my chemistry teacher was a concentration camp survivor (An anachronism- my chemistry teacher was born in the 50s) who was constantly alluding to his ordeal but never explicitly mentioning it. The protagonists of my story, some uninformed fifth graders, struggled to pinpoint the cause of their teacher's distant and depressed behavior. Because I was the omniscient narrator, I could see everyone's thoughts vividly animated. My chemisry teacher kept coming back to a rather poignant visual of futility: several men in striped pajamas pushing a wheel around and around in some sort of mill, drawn using bold ink lines and only two colors (brown and blue). The kids were close to figuring things out when the dream ended.

Now, someone be my Freud.

Okay here we go, you want to be the chemistry teacher but you know that you would feel bad about it since it would mean an absolute end to many childhood dreams which you can never fulfill. The children are the facets of the child in you that wonder why you want to be a chem teacher when you know you won't be happy about it. The mill scene is referring to the chem teacher literally grinding away his life feeling useless. The children coming close to figuring all of this out signify that you want to and are going to make up your mind soon. Next time you have this dream I suggest you kill the kids since they hold you back anyway. Oh and the story you're writing is the story of your life in both past and present tense.

That was weak, but I think dreams are mostly meaningless anyway.

Now someone analyze my dream.

I used to have this huge crush on this chick and I was dreaming we were at some dance. Very formal and then it turned out I was a vampire and so was everyone else except this chick I brought as my date. Then we all smoked some blunts after which we started having an orgy with everyone involved in which I gave the chick my vampire bite after agreeing to become a vampire. Then I woke up.

Are you a big fan of Tom Cruise? This dream sounds like a combination of "Interview With a Vampire" and "Eyes Wide Shut". This "chick" that you used to have a "crush" on is apparently still on your mind, albeit, subconsciously. She is probably someone you have put on a pedestal, who you think is "morally" above you and the crowd you associate with. Maybe she has rejected you in some way, or put you down, so in your dream you bring her down to your level. You take her to a "formal dance" and then get high and your ulterior motives become exposed. You blame it all on vampirism to avoid the guilt you feel by "sucking" her into the "under world" of your sexual fantasies. Next time, or in real life, give her your phone number instead of a bite on the neck. :D And stay away from dope. It can really drag you down into the real underworld of morality.

My dream:
I was dancing in a long billowy gown like Salome and their was a huge boa constrictor (more like an Anaconda in size) coiled around my chest. I woke up with a tight chest gasping for air. The boa constrictor was surreal in size an appearance.

The feeling of a long billowing gown (don't ask me why I know this, lol) is certainly your desire for flight.
The sense of the wind rushing across your skin as you move away from hardship, turmoil, and unpleasant guests for the holidays.

The snake is representing a male figure holding you back from this flight, restricting your personal interests and creative abilities.

You can break free though... you just have to find it in your dreams...

My dream:
This is one I used to have as a child...

I am in bed in my room, far in the corner opposite my door.
The room is dark and there is a light on from the hall.
The door is open.
No one else is around.
There is a toilet paper roll on a wall hanger and the paper is unrolling onto the floor.
The roll proceeds non-stop at a constant speed and I am unable to reach it to make it stop.
There is no sound.....

This was a recurrent dream I used to have that I hated... it always freaked me out.

Unrolling toilet paper could represent the forces of chaos in your life. The fact that you can't reach it could represent helplessness. The fact that the dream is silent may mean that you feel you have no one to talk to about your problems, or you're too timid to.

I also had a dream in which I swallowed one of my Christmas presents (a marble colored to look like the earth) for some reason. I changed my mind, sat in a stagnant creek for some reason, and induced vomiting. When it came up it was large and malleable, like a blob of melted glass. I tried to get it back the way it was by turning it inside out.

There was a digression in which I tried to steal a Playboy magazine from this person's sparely decorated house for the sake of subversion. My father was with me, but I found a way. The magazine, though it had a Playboy cover, was full of photographs of infants with birth defects.

you reject the world as it is. you see things the correct way, and the world is inside-out. you wish you could right the world, and you try to do that instead of internalizing the world and their degenerate, empty, porno-like madness, which breeds more and more empty children that you cannot save, and that will eventually grow up to be so much more sludge in that dead creek.

today i fell asleep under an electric blanket and it gave me a nightmare, and in real life my leg has a big bruise on it:

i was sick. so this guy gave me what he said was lortab. but it made my head go crazy and the colors all went wrong. the sky was screaming orange and yellow and bad. not pretty like a sunset. the colors were obscene somehow. wrong. and the pills made me sicker and i couldn't talk, and then he was like, "hey, lets have sex." and i did not think that sounded like a fun plan, but i was dizzy-sick. and i was trying to argue with him. nothing actually happened, he was just very pushy and i had to keep arguing with him, which was hard because i couldn't talk, and then he's like, "oh. maybe you are not sick because of the pills, maybe your leg is infected." and then my left leg was all yellow and swirl-grey, and hot and infected and gross, and then i kept thinking i needed to talk to someone online, because in the dream i knew they could help me and put the sky back, but i couldn't get up.
