(But seriously, it's kind of stupid how sometimes it ends up telling people to share a coke with [insert name here]. Sure, they tend to be common names and, statistically perhaps, people are likely to know someone with such a name... but, in the same vein, people with barely any friends aren't likely, as well...)

Don't feel bad, Coke that wasted its ad dollars on you. Sometimes its nice not to belong to a target demographic, it can help reduse impulse buying since the message of the ad can miss us.

That's one of those things they do to motivate people to buy the product. Just disregard it. Some of my colleagues have actually bought cans of coke because there was a name of someone printed on the can. How stupid is that!?

It's just a marketing ploy that's best not dwelled on. Or you could drink the extra coke instead of giving it away so not having friends means you get twice as much :D
