What I'd like to know is why they're always misspelling words and making typos. Either they're really stupid or they're too cool for school which is in the same league as stupid.

How many have their email showing here in their profiles?

When people are getting them, are they reporting the emails to the ISP and email support?

Oh, I'm glad you told me that, otherwise I'd have mistaken it as genuine

I got a very similar one, and deleted it. Member joined WP earlier today, which is a dead giveaway that it wasn't a legit message.

Other boards to which I belong, require a moderator to manually review & activate new users' accounts. I don't remember if ths board is that way, but if not, mwybe it would serve us well to add that security measure.

Ok. Lately I found some humorous questions that had people type in the answer as rub cat urine on your face in tandem and vote each other's answer up lol.

Well, even though I didn't reply to the email I guess it got me to log in to WP so that much is a good thing, right?
How's everyone doing these days?

That's what happens when you ask for help on the internet

I find it funny when people ask for medical help online. Seriously, random internet strangers can hardly tell you what's wrong with your computer accurately, let alone analyse your medical condition... Doctors exist for a reason
