That's interesting. I wonder how hungry they were when they invented that one!
My dad's side of the family has lots of Norwegian and English in it; Norwegian food tastes really good. Like futtimon, meaning "poor man's treat" is a good fried cookie that has cardemom, flour, and eggs in it; my grandma and I usually make for Chrismas. Then there's kompe, a dish where there are shredded potato balls and you pour a little bacon grease on it (I don't eat too much of it, otherwise I be a little horizantally bigger than I am now). I haven't eaten English food before, but I've heard some things about it (most people that I heard didn't like it very much). Of course, lots of the world probably views American food weird if they think that all we eat is McDonalds and drink Coke, and that we're all fat and all we drive are big Chevy trucks (that's what a German exchange student said that she thought before coming to school; and she said that most people believed that from TV! lol)
