Do you ever hear a song and automaticlly expect it to be followed by another :?:

yeah.
especially with 90s r&b songs because i used to buy the compilation albums, where they mixed them into each other

edit: probably more 00s r&b songs, whatever.

Yes, if it a song from an album I listen to quite a lot. Like OK Computer or The Bends, or New Adventures in Hi-Fi.

Although I tend to listen to whole albums a lot less these days, as I seem to rely on YouTube far too much. Laziness.

Some songs do lead very nicely onto each other. Before MP3's and CD-R's I would make compilation tapes.

I find even my iPod on shuffle seems to make certain patterns of songs. It's biased in the mix.

Yes, I'd forgotten about Mixtapes. I used to tape the charts in the 80s and listen to the tape over and over again. I also had the early Now Thats... tapes. Some of that memory does remain when I hear songs that were on those tapes.

God I feel old.

I didn't get Now 1, but I got Now 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. Oh the shame of it.

The songs on Pink Floyd's albums are meant to segue nicely into each other and it throws me off when I hear one song on the radio and it doesn't lead into the next one.


NOW: That's what I call a waste of money! :P

It happens sometimes. It's kinda frustrating if the song I expected doesn't follow. :P

i sometimes skip shuffle to find the song i think needs to follow the last. even if it takes ages to find.

Yes, sometimes, for example when I sometimes listen to the songs from my casette containing "97' Top Carnaval Hits" with "Train to Nowhere", "Respect Yourself", "Macarena" and some others the titles of which I don't remember now, on, and my other casette from the 90's with the biggest hits of eurodance. I listened to them so many times then. Listening to the songs from the former one makes me think of some children's novel I was reading when I was listening to those songs when I got that casette. I mean listening them on Youtube.

Oh my god yesss. I was just thinking about this yesterday. I really need to change my playlist so "Both Reached For The Gun" comes after "Candyman" and I should add "My Mother" to the Chipmunk part. I keep expecting to hear it!
