... As in, posts from the early days of WP (2004-2006ish), I find it weird (closest approximation to what I feel, though not accurate) to think that, if WP lasts at least several more years and it grows at the rate that it has been in the past year or so, there will be an abundance of people to read through our posts even when we're not here anymore, and make judgments/opinions/whatever about us. (Long sentence!) God, it doesn't sound as peculiar when I put it into writing, but do any of you ever think about the same?

Yeah I know what you mean there!

I imagine that in a few years if there are any relationships formed on WP in the future, someone could say "it's like another MONKEY and rabbitears". 8)

I'll probably just get fed up with this place bugger off for a few years then come back again for a 3rd incarnation.

I shall do the same!
I am going to stop being addicted for when I go to college....and maybe come back here after I graduate (but I hope college will give me a life).

I wonder if there will be a Ray Davies around here in the future? Not the real Ray Davies, but a member who strongly identifies with and looks a lot like him.

I joined in 2006. The WP world seemed to have a more refreshing innocence then when I look back on it.

I'm going to keep posting on WP forever. I've been doing it for almost 7 years.

I feel that I'm the only innocent member left on WP. With that and my religious and political beliefs, I feel that I'm a bit of an outcast.

Really? I mean, I know I have one or 2 bad moments, but I'm pretty sure I am innocent. Don't drink, do drugs, or have sex before marriage. I mean, I haven't even had my first kiss yet. Also, I am Mormon, so, yea, I'm very different. Innocence!

Yup.
Because I have a testimony of the principles and doctrines, I have read the scriptures/said prayers/listened to leaders and I have felt the spirit and witnessed/experienced miracles.

Ah, okay.

I descend from Brigham Young.

None of the Mormons believe me when I tell them. I descend from him + Wife 25 (Martha Bowker)... I think they had a daughter named... Ida, was it?, who had a son, who had a son, who had my grandma, who had my mom, who had me. 8O

Okay.

That's cool.

I don't know what to believe about genealogy. I tend to lack in that area. My grandma is crazy about it though, she's made 300/400 page books about it for us (in spiral bound folders, not really books per say). I know it is important, but right now, I am working on other parts of my belief. Always a work in process.

If you don't mind me asking, why aren't you mormon? I don't want to assume, it's just that most people pass it along, so something had to happen.

My family has been Christian on both sides for awhile; not sure where/when the Mormon-ness was lost. Maybe from the start; not sure. Personally, I'm atheist. (Actually, I can be more accurately described by '?'). However, my mother's aunt/uncle (I think it was them) got their vows renewed or something in some place related to Mormonism in Salt Lake City. Not sure if they're Mormon or not.
It is interesting to think about, though.

Oh. Interesting.
I was born and raised Mormon, and will stay that way.
That must stink feeling like a question mark.
