We all have one or more fave years that we have gotten to live thorough. Let's discuss that here.
---
My fave years, hands down were 1999 and 2000; those were the years as a pre-teen I discovered what my potential was, and what I was going to like. I was starting to love baseball, anime, and comedy; my love of game shows burgeoned during that time, and I went on many fabulous adventures to New York and Canada then. It was also the year before 9/11 screwed with my mind.

1980 to 1990.

I loved that ten year span, I was happy then. Just for the record, I turned ten in february 1980.

In hindsight, things were starting to go off the rails for me by the late 80's, but I still look on those years fondly.

My favourite years were probably 1986-1996. Pure Childhood :)

I have some nice memories from my childhood. Also, 1997, 2000 and 2005-2006 so far. I hope the best are still to come.

My first horsie years were amazing. (1984-1989)

By far, however the best "year" of my life was my senior year of high school. (1989-1990)

I was in good health for the last time, I met my husband, and my security (via. formal schooling) had yet to be shaken/destroyed. My ASD was in check and I went on my senior trip to Disney and was well enough to go on all the crazy rides. I'll always relive that year in my head and wish I could still be there.

Probably 1997-2001, because those were my years at Junior School, where I was aged 7-11, and I loved being at that school and I loved being those ages. I didn't like 1994 much, because that was when I started school and I couldn't cope and caused a worry to my parents and the teachers. By age 7 I calmed down and got quite typical, which is why I liked the years 1997-2011.
2003 was quite a funny year, I was in year 9, which was my worst year of school (aged 13-14, my worst ages anyway).

I didn't like 2004, because a lot changed in that year, not for the better. And I didn't like 2009 either because I seemed to have a lot of bad luck that year; I got bullied, I got my crush into trouble, my auntie met this bloke I didn't like (but they've finished months ago now), it snowed a lot and I hate snow, and the Swine Flu scare was overrated and I was frightened of it killing my loved ones.

I liked 2008, that was an OK year, and 2010 was too. I can't judge this year until it's over.

1990-1993 I can't judge either because I was only a baby in those 3 years, although I do wish to be a baby again. Oh, and 2006 was a good year 'cos that was the year I left school. 2007 was an interesting year, because a lot changed but for the better (a couple of the problems that arised in 2004 got solved in 2007 for some reason). Also I went to college in 2007 and I enjoyed that.

2000 - 2002 (age 9 to 11) were great years for me, because I had a best friend who was as passionate about my special interests (then anime/manga, specifically Rurouni Kenshin and Inuyasha) as I was. We'd have sleepovers where we stayed up all night talking, we'd go swimming together, write stories and draw pictures together. I know it sounds so insignificant in writing, but those were truly some of the happiest times I'd ever had.

2010 was my favorite year in recent memory, because that was the year that I discovered my passion for Johnny Depp's movies. My biggest movie obsession that year was Alice in Wonderland. I remember coming out of that theater on opening day (March 5th) feeling lovestruck. Alice and the Mad Hatter became my imaginary friends, and I pretended that Alice was my long-lost twin sister, because I was the same age as the character when the movie came out (19) and I used that fantasy as a way to cope with the fact that I've always felt estranged from my two real-life sisters. I had an Alice in Wonderland-themed birthday party that year, and it was, well, wonderful. I will never forget that year and part of the reason I have been so sad this year is because I miss that magical feeling.

The year 2009 is the best year that I've lived so far. I've changed for the better after living a lie between 1998 and 2008. The thing that makes me happy about all this, is that I did it for me. :)

2006 was also a good year for me; I discovered anime cons for the first time, and I enjoyed more adventures there........ it was the year I discovered adulthood as well.

When I was young and stupid. 1990-2000. Then it worsened gradually. I can't understand that someone liked their teenage years (High school?!). There are different courses in life of course. It could have been different if something changed for me as well.

2008, when I was a Year 6, I had some good times, then a Year 7, just starting Secondary school.

2011, once winter had ended. Then It sort of ended when winter started again.

And this year, so far.

2008, even though it's the year the economy crashed, I still have good memories.

I probably would've liked the 80s and 90s if I didn't have a crappy childhood.
