HOW?! How can you stand having a username with a lower case first letter?! That would drive me crazy. I always wonder...

I thought the topic was gonna be people who don't capitalize.

I couldn't stand an uncapitalized first letter of my name, myself.

Maybe they just didn't feel like hitting the 'Caps Lock' key when they signed up?

My username here is capitalized, but many I've used in the past and even my AIM are not. Honestly, it all depended on what the name was.

I can't stand it when people misuse homophones.

You all think you're so superior with your fancy capital letters. Haha I'm just used to signing in to google without capitalizing, so I forgot when I signed up here. I'd change it if I could but I'm not too bothered by it.

"Jmnixon95" looks weird, as "j" and "m" are initials... So, it would otherwise have to be "JMnixon95" or "JMNixon95", which are both somewhat obnoxious...

"Ocdgirl123", would probably drive me crazy because "OCD" is an acronym. "OCDgirl123", wouldn't be too appealing to me either. "ocdgirl", might look better than ocdgirl123, but when I signed up, I decided to be on the safe side and put "123" in case "ocdgirl", had already been taken on something.

Well, i can't really speak for lower case people. But in the case of my user name, the first letter is capitalized because the first letter in names is capitalized, and though my user name is two words put together it is still being used as a single name. If my user name was an acronym it would be all capitals. If it had been more then two words, or if the words where meant to be pronounced separately, it would have a capital at the start of each word, as each word was a new component of a name, in the same way that first middle and last names all start with capitals.

Solvejg is a proper noun and as such needs to be capitalised.

It would also drive me nuts to have a username with no caps.

It's easier because I don't have to hold the Shirt key when I need to type my SN but I just didn't think of using a capital & the look doesn't bother me at all
