I just deleted the last.fm aspect of my signature because I was tired of it. 'Existence precedes essence' has been my signature for quite some time... as in, since I've been a member of this site, and I added the last.fm part a few months ago.
How often do you change your signature?
When did you last change it?
What's the significance of it?
And so on.

My signature is some of the lyrics from the song Pure Imagination from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

That song really speaks to me.

1st line of my sig is from Jimi Hendrix' song 'Bold as Love', a beautiful song in my opinion, plus somewhat relevant as it suggests a spectrum of personalities..

it's just not cricket, is a british phrase, although presumably all cricket-playing nations are aware of it. i take it to mean 'it's not fair / gentlemanly' as cricket was once known as 'the gentleman's game' and jokingly apply it to life.

brilliant and subtle as a brick is how mr Fry described pudsey's advertisement on BBC show QI, but i think it describes me, on a good day, brilliant is perhaps quite arrogant for everyday use. et voila

I really don't like signatures much. It seems as though it is just wastes space. Is there really something you want to tell every time you post.

my signature is a quote i like, i think i will be changing it as soon as i decide which of my list of quotes will replace it, this could take some time....

If I posed here every time I changed my signature; I'd be posting here every couple days. I don't think a lot of my sigs need an explanation anyways. When I quote song lyrics I list the artist at the bottom when there's room

Mine has been the same for a while. It sorta goes with my avatar. It's from one of my favourite Fall songs 'How I Wrote Elastic Man'. The Fall were named after a Camus book.

I don't think I've changed mine since 2008. Perhaps I should.

I guess it's just a saying I like, I can't remember where I even heard it.

I haven't change my signature, but the purpose of it is to amuse you.
