Does anyone get this?

Orange is my favourite colour and I dislike the colour Green but I often can't tell the difference between Orange and Green, depending on the hue of the Green. Same thing with Blue and Purple, it's often very difficult for me to tell the difference and I end up mixing the two up.

Anyone else have this? It's a bit frustrating at times! :)

I don't have the color identification problem but orange is also my favorite color too-and its also a word supposedly without a word that rhymes with it.

Blue and Purple colour blindness is what I have.

Its a rare form of from it from what I remember plus my family used my colour blindness as an excuse to talk me out of training to be an electrical engineer like my uncle. I guess it was my uncle's accident while working as an engineer is the real reason behind that as he lost a few of his fingers.

Yes, it's often difficult to tell between regular blue and purple and dark purple and navy blue. It's strange, especially when I have to ask if something is blue or purple and it's a huge advertising hoarding or somesuch.

Orange is my favourite colour as well. Some shades of green are hard on my eyes.

Bullcrap. Flange rhymes with orange, at least partially.

But, in response to the OP, I have no idea what you are talking about. The differences between orange and green are as obvious as night and day to me. Blue and purple, not so much, but still.

My brother can't tell blue from purple and his biggest problem is he can't tell pink from brown. Difficult when you are cooking a raw sausage! He has to ask his flatmates whether the sausage has gone brown or not! He also has problems with green... yet he is an artist... strange that!

Are you officially colour-blind? I see the mixup between blue and purple, but green and orange seem very different (to ME!) Unless of course, one is colour blind perhaps. Colour blindness actually runs in my family with several of my uncles and at least one of my cousins having it. I don't though.
