With cosmologists in a team made up of personnel from University College London, Imperial College London and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics saying they have found disk-like patterns in the cosmic microwave background (CMB) which may hint at the existence of multiverses, what would you wish for the 'you' who might exist in another universe or the several hundred versions of you which might be out there somewhere?

Me? I'd be glad to find just one version of me who was sociable, confident and happy. Oh, and someone who did not run away from spiders like a ten year old girl.

The UCL/ICL/PITP press release is here:

I'm beginning to see a fatal flaw in picking a snappy thread title over one about multiverse theory...

Runs away and hides...

I hope there are versions of all of you in other universes who actually read the OP. :P

I hope there is a less cynical version of me out there too.

Haha, I did read the OP...well read is the operative word...I skimmed.

Something about alternate you's and 10-year-olds and spiders.

*reads*

Its about science, my brain hurts right now. Just kidding

There very well may be other universes, the bible says that he has created "worlds without number" but I doubt that they are a different version of you because if they are different, they can't be you...right?

Sliders, as parallel universes DO exist.
However it would be interesting to see a show based on the behavior of the electron, which can and is a more than one place at a time, applying this concept human neurology, it is also an interesting explanations for deja-vu.

Evidence, please?

FYI: "Sliders" was a science-fiction program on the telly.
