I once went by the username cool_aspie, and I was banned for no reason. I have done nothing wrong and if I have, I would like to be told what I did wrong. Hear me out alex, before you ban me again. I hate being banned without getting a warning first. I hate being banned and not told the reason why! The banning system should change!

If you ban me again, I would like to be told the reason why and I would like you to tell me if it's temorary or an IP ban.

Is there a reason please aka cool_aspie was banned?

Sigh, I don't know why...I think alex was having a bad day, and he decided to take it out on me!

I love WP, and I don't want to leave.

This is not good, as a community we have the right to know what could get us banned and what might not. Any individuals who are banned should know the reasons why, even if they don't agree with the banning.

I agree, and if I did do something wrong, I think I should be warned and given a chance to repent. I hate being banned without being told what I did wrong. I emailed alex, and he didn't tell me why.

Alex, if I did do something wrong, forgive me and give me one chance to change.

I think we as a community should support cool_aspie aka please in his right to know why he was banned.

I was having a meltdown at the time and I really regretted it. I won't make any more topics like that. Alex I have to eat some pie, so please wait a while.

Was there anything wrong with that topic? It was in the haven, which was an appropiate section of the forum to put the topic in.

Twice I have had difficulty accessing and posting on the forums...I never knew what happened but assumed I was banned and it was really upsetting to me because I did not know what I did wrong.I tried email and the "contact us" site but never did get a response...I even tried to rejoin but it wouldt let me!!!I am a computer newbie,so I assumed I was just doing something wrong but it was really frustrating and depressing that I couldnt get my daily fix of WP....Some of us count on this place as the main "socializing" we do...

I agree that we should be given reasons why we are banned and be allowed to make ammends.Isnt this a learning process?I may say something that I had no intention of insulting soemone but do so inadvertantly and I beieve in giving second chances unless the individual is doing something harmful to WP......like spamming people or hacking or whatever.I may not agree with everybody on this site....why should we...but I can learn from them and that is invaliable...I have seen some posts on here that I thought were insensitive,sexist.....but there has only been one person that I have seen be truely cruel and alot of people called him on it(not that that changed him)but it was good to see people sticking up for themselves and others....

how about you find old post you made under cool_aspie that has reasons for you to
be unbanned. I mean all I know about you is you went crazy and said your sorry and now
this thread. Maybe Alex read all your post?

Are you sure you were banned? Sometimes I get sqrl errors or form errors and cannot post. Other times my post does not seem to get through...

The IT folks at work think it is something in my firewall.
