It has nothing to do with the fathers or mothers age at all. My father was 29 when my brother was born and my mother was 30 and he's an NT, although a little bit shy and introvert. It's genetic. My father is an undiagnosed aspie, my grandfather is an undiagnosed aspie, my great grandfather was an undiagnosed aspie, my grandmother is perhaps an undiagnosed aspie, my great grandmother was probably an undiagnosed aspie, my great grandmother's brother was probably an undiagnosed aspie, my great grandmothers father might have been an undiagnosed aspie, after what people have told about him. My mother and her mother are NT's with a reserved attitude though. Great grandfather and great grandmother both came from families way out on the rural parts of Sweden. My theory simply is that aspies and NT's with aspie traits have always found attraction in one another, long before autism was known (or better to say, named) at all.
