what if you move your arms while you jog, won't that do anything? don't you think it would look silly if you kept your arms at your side trying to run?
real runners will pump their arms. I don't as it deflates my energy reserve, sometimes is painful as on the heart/lungs/ect..
I work against angina vein constriction-I don't play at pretending I'm a healthy teen.
Now if your sprinting however--which will supercharge your bulk thigh muscles--arm pumping is a neccessity for speed. Since that is only 15 seconds or so of a burst it doesn't hurt me.
Keeping things constant.
Interesting note. By jogging very slowly, but not stopping, an hour to a couple hours per day, I lost 25 lbs in 2 weeks and about 40 blood pressure points.
Only problem is not being able to walk very well the next day.
But I lost almost no weight while jogging on my tony little gazelle for the same periods of time.
