I thought to post this here because I think a lot of people would care and support the cause, especially when it would help to keep children free from dangers. It is an online petition and you can vote in the poll and leave comments too.

Just click on the two words below, thanks in advance. :)

Oh, and I forgot to say, comments don't show your email either, which is good.

I'm not from Bournemouth but from the looks of it that is indeed decidedly iffy-looking.

Isn't it.

I'm sure it will be well-supported if it reaches the right people and ultimately the council will see sense.

The best thing about it regionally is this. People don't have to be in the Bournemouth area to support the cause, however, by supporting it may have a regional effect on other councils considering the same, so saying, don't allow this to happen in your area.

From the link provided:

This is Chris Saunders, seafront Manager at Bournemouth via a recent email…

'We came to the conclusion that unlike a swimming pool changing room we were unable to Police the area properly should it be partitioned and therefore chose to leave it open.'

He has a very good point.

It is no different to beach shower facilities found all over Europe. Everyone shares. At least yours are covered and the water is heated. As a matter of interest, do you use these facilities or do you object on principle?

Perhaps non-English-speaking tourists don't need to be told how to behave modestly. And if visiting parents are happy to let their children shower naked, where's the problem? Perhaps only the adult objectors, scared witless by their own morality, choose to see a potential paedo under every grain of sand.

I fear this idea of Government-by-petition if it leads to ones like this.

No, he misses the point, as do you.

I would use them when not too crowded, if they are crowded, I choose not to use them.

Then you clearly are unable to see that the problem there is that sadly people will take advantage of an open situation.

Yeah. And when you've come off your crack pipe, you might see what is happening the real world.

Twat.

Twat.

Is that how you normally react when someone challenges your view?

Who are the right people? People just like you who share your nasty-minded rectitude?

If you were able to read properly or realise that you are the only one who has taken the opposite view and understand that the weight of opinion clearly outnumbers your way of thinking... oh what's the point

Sadly it's people like you, the woolly liberals that make up such Government departments that make the world a more dangerous place... why you sticking up for nonces anyway, is this subject a bit too close to home for you?

But then your username tells us all we need to know... clearly into fantasies.

Your aggressive approach and gratuitous insults are out of order.

And so is your ignorance for which others are not to blame.

People have had a look. Some agree, some don't. They have some good points, so don't abuse them for expressing them because then you come across looking the twat.
