Turned off by fast food

I live in Cincinnati, Ohio where the city mascot is the pig. Go figure. Anyway I participated in a walk for the hungry event in order to help give food to those in need. Worthy cause. Anyway at the same time the Taste of Cincinnati was going on. One could barely find anything nutritious to eat at ANY of the vendors. All brats, mets, hotdogs which are ok but seriously why not put out some cold salads and some fresh fruit?!

I quit fast food for the most part, with the exception of Chipotle and Subway. Anyone else think this way.

I eat at chipotle and subway. And I avoid all fast food except the occasional in and out burger.

I always like to tell people, "Even the hot sauce packet at Jack in the Box is filled with MSG" ... (which is actually true). Your paying to be slowly killed eating at most of the fast food places. The mcdonalds apple slices some how stay good out of the package for a long time - and now any kind of fried food from fast food places makes me very sick - while eating it and after.

There are lots of reasons I never acquired the fast food habit--food allergies, sensitivity to light and noise, dislike of busy public venues, a rock-bottom food budget--but I've never felt deprived.

well, I kinda like it.

I love Subway and Chipotle (Though I prefer Moe's or Qdoba). I avoid almost everything else. I hate the after effects of fast food.

Fastfood is my stress-out food, which is funny since eating it makes me feel like crap!

Currently, I'm detoxing and back to my usual diet of couscous, veggies, homemade yogurt, nuts/fruit, legumes with a bit of chicken and salmon thrown in.

I feel much better.

Mm. Burgers...

My metabolism is fast enough fast food doesn't effect me on the outside. I do need to increase my exercise though, because eventually the cholesterol will hit me real hard when I'm older.

Fast food would be a turn off for most people. Think about it, it would be pretty strange for someone to consider fast food a turn on.

Personally, I consider provocatively dressed women as a turn on, but I wouldn't judge people who consider fast food to be a turn on.

Most fast food is meat or fried in meat, or has eggs I'm usually good.

Fast food gives me digestive peoblems. My mom doesn't seem to care, she'd rather have convienience over a healthy meal.

I try my hardest not to eat it.

But I can't give up pizza...

That really sucks, I can't eat fast food because I'm pretty much vegan....you could become a vegetarian and threaten that you will starve if she doesn't get you food.

I could never give up meat!

Speaking of meat, where's Spazzergasm these days?

I watched "Supersize Me" a while back, and I'm never eating McDonald's again, or any fast food places like that
