I just wanted to rant on how is reddit becoming less intellectual in my opinon. Really interesting, challening intellecutal discussions are receiving a bunch of downvotes whilst everyday topics are heavily upvoted.
Just my $0.02.. I think I will start posting all science and philosophy related discussions here... Not only do I get more interesting answers, but seems that WP users actually care to respond and develop a nice debate/discussion

MIght be true. At least I was under the illusion that it was at first glance... Specifically academic philosophy, hard science or physics subreddits... But I was wrong even about them. Sigh.
