I am leaving the morning of the 9th. I went through a stage of feeling okay with it... But now it's getting closer! I have to do these social events alone for college, and stuff. I'm shy! And I have to get my license and stuff. And my room is going to be GONE. the room I know here... It's gonna be gone. When I visit I will no longer have a place in this house. The other day we threw out the fan I use to fall asleep to and I started crying. :?
I'm trying to make myself feel better by thinking of how I'm going to buy a root beer when I land in NY and stuff, but I doubt that will help for long. As soon as I set foot in the house in Seattle I know I'm going to dread the fact that I now live there... :( It's way too much change.

At least my sister has a dog I love very much. I think he's going to be my new best friend for a while...

:( :( :(

And I have to leave Bali behind for like, a month or two. I will constantly be worrying about him. :(

I remember how it felt to move away very well.

I was surprised at how quickly I got over it though - but I was coming from a very bad place so that probably helped a lot...

Good luck dear!

Post on WP a lot if you need to (or even if you don't need to...) :)

Thank you for the words guys.
Also, I've lived a pretty sheltered life here. I'm afraid of real life. I am afraid I might run into a lot of "aspie problems" I don't have here in Turkey.

You seem rather bright; I think you'll be fine. You will probably be homesick at times, but try to keep an open-mind and enjoy the chance for new experiences.

Don't worry, you'll be fine.

It'll all seem easier when you get there. :)

What makes you say that?

Things are always much more complex and difficult than they need to be. Murphy's law: if it can be a pain in the ass, it will be a pain in the ass.

Plan for the worst, and hope for the best.

And what does that get you? A bunch of nuclear bunkers left over from the cold war! 8)

*Hugs* We are all here for you.

Change is difficult for most of us, but your new routine will become natural in due time.

I'm just saying it like it is. Spazzergasm is going to be moving from one side of this planet to another. There are well-founded reasons to be concerned. I've moved from one state to another many times before, and not once has it gone as planned. I'm just trying to give some practical advice, that's all. If you lose your luggage or your flight is delayed, you'll know what I mean.

Better to have them and not need them than to need them and not have them.

You realize this is more of a supporting thread, right Sammich?

Nevermind. I hope it goes well for you Spazzer. :)

Good luck. It's hard moving from a place you know of course but just try to keep in mind the possible good times ahead I suppose. Perhaps you should buy more than one root beer once you land. That'll prolong it's effect. :P A pet is always a nice familiarity in an unfamiliar place. I'm sure it'll take your mind off things a bit. :)
