I have 33 pages to my raccoon book, and 21 pages so far to my book I am writing on red kangaroo's! I even found out how to put a boarder and text boxes to go with the pictures!! ! but its mostly text...

So far, nobody has bought my raccoon book, which i published on Lulu... but I kinda expected that no one would buy it... not many people are obsessed with raccoons like me!

I wonder what animal I should write about after this... bats? rats? cats? idk... I'll find that out later.

But I am doing more research and study on my special interests... which just happens to be animal biology...

Anyways... I just wanted to let you all know that... I don't know if anyone here cares or not...

That's pretty cool. Is writing just a hobby or do you plan on making it a profession or a side job?

Hey that sounds like fun. It is a process, so I wouldn't worry if you don't sell many. Look at it as you're sharpening your writing skills and improving your base of knowledge.

I would love it to be a partial career! I am planning on getting a PhD in biology to become a science writer. but I will also sell crafts that I make on the side to help out. But I plan on writing about many animals and making a few science encyclopedias with high detail and information on the animals.

so, more of a side profession

If you ever write one on cats or horses, I might like to see it. If you ever get discouraged, just remember that the world needs super-experts like us.

Don't let it get you down. There isn't exactly a large market for Raccoon books. Or animal or biology books in general.

Everyone uses wikipedia these days.
