My main motivation...
I was always irritated at a lot of things throughout my high school career. Things like our education system, politics in the USA and elsewhere, people's inability to think for themselves, and other things in that vein. As time went on and I got into college recently, the anger started intensifying, then my dog died recently as well, that I think, set me over the edge. I can think of a recent situation in my math class where the entire time I was screaming in my head: "OH MY GOD I DON'T CARE!" and near the end of class my thoughts consisted entirely of "shut up shut up shut up shut up" needless to say I stormed out of that class. Then, I wrote a paper on a controversial subject recently and surprisingly, I got some people on my side, but I don't understand why it is still such an odd thing to think about (if you want to see the paper PM me please, be open-minded as well =D). It just demonstrated a lack of people being able to stop and think about something rationally and with an open-minded state of being. It's so hard right now to not just throw my arms up and scream "F*** IT!" and just screw college and just work for a few years and then try to travel the world without giving two sh**s about what society wants from me. I really just want to travel the world and have fun with life, we can't seem to have fun anymore. This may be somewhat different for those of you in different countries, but here the U.S. there is so much I can barely stand. Is it wrong of me to be angry at these things? I don't think so. I want to hear your thoughts on these subjects, what is your outlook? Also here is a speech that I think everyone should listen to at least once in their lives that basically sums up everything I think about life right now: (skip to about 1:05 for the speech)
