No sooner do I register at Wrong Planet than I receive a private message from a young lady who has an inheritance of over 6 million American dollars but needs help getting it out of the country. Whatever country that is. She promises me 15% of the fortune if I help her. And to think I've only been a member for a few hours and already I'm on my way to easy street!

Yes, I know it's a scam. When legitimate heiresses contact total strangers and ask them to help them obtain millions of dollars, the standard fee is 10%, not 15. That was what gave her away.

I got one too.

Yeah, if she was to inherit 6 million and it was legit, a lawyer would've taken on the case.

I don't think there's a report button for PMs on this forum. :(

Well, at least that guy in Nigeria managed to get his case managed, eh?

I must say though, I'm pretty sure one from Burkina Faso said he'd give me 20% of his 9.6 million dollar inheritance - I don't remember why I didn't take him up on that :P
