Possibly. Depends on whether we're uniformly distributed among the population and whether the falling space junk is more likely to hit particular places than others. If aspies are over-represented in an area which is more likely to be stricken by plummeting doom-rocks, then yeah.

This is probably the only topic that has not been previously discussed in an "Are Aspies more likely to...?" thread, kudos!

I'm not taking any chances. I'm going to hide in a deep cave underground until there's no more space debris.

Better to be hit with asteroids than haemorrhoids.

I live in the UK and every year on November 5th people buy fireworks to celebrate Guy Fawkes night, last year a spent firework rocket hit me on its return to earth. does that count?

Quite possibly but the effect would be minuscule by modern measurement methods. The asperger brain has more electrical wiring than the average neurotypical brain which leads to a slightly stronger magnetic field. The effect would only become noticeable if you would put all asperger people in the world into one room then the probability of the effect becomes slightly higher than randomness.

YES but they're not junk, they're messages from our relatives.

I get hit by cosmic rays all the time. I've learned not to let it faze me.

I've only been hit by falling space junk, tops, five times.

The media has really exaggerated the danger of this.
