You're probably going to find this weird and maybe a little creepy, but I'm sure you have all seen weirder. I find blood beautiful. Is there anything wrong with that? Its really remarkable how it transports oxygen around the body and keeps us alive. Red is my favorite color, so I find a liquid of that shade of red very aesthetic. I find both the red color of fresh blood and dried blood that hasn't turned brown to be very rich. I guess I just like how saturated the color of blood ends up being. I also like the way the color contrasts white when its own paper or something, but I hate how it eventually turns brown after it tries. I also find it pretty the way it spreads out in water, and the only other liquid I've seen spread in a similar way as blood is milk, and its not as pretty as it white instead of red. I only really find small amounts of blood appealing, large amounts such as what might come from a serious injury just make me feel sick; I don't like people being injured, I absolutely abhor it, I just like the way blood looks. I find simulated blood in video games as such disgusting as it doesn't look anything like real blood and its just made to increase gore and emphasize violence, which I do not approve of. I can only stand violence in video games if its justified.

Ok, so this the part where you're really going to think I'm creepy: I sort of like the metallic taste of blood. I've put pennies in my mouth before to get that taste, when I get nose bleeds, which I get frequently, I sort of enjoy the blood trickling down the back of my nose into my mouth and mixing with my saliva. Is it wrong to like the taste of blood?

Without even realizing I'm doing it, I constantly chew on my lips and the inside of my mouth, both when I'm awake and when I'm asleep. So naturally I'm accustomed to having the taste of blood in my mouth, and I actually kind of enjoy it. But my love affair with blood ends there. You and me, me and you, blood, we had something special, but baby, I'm just not ready to take it to the next level. It's not you, it's me.

It's never really bothered me. Someone could tell me my elbow is all torn up (which it was at one point, I have a scar from it) and I would look at it and go "How does it look?"

I use to do the same thing as a kid, but I ingested blood because I wanted to put it back into my body, like if i fell or something, I would lick it.

I have a very early memory of standing in a small pool of my own blood. I had hit my head really hard running around a corner as I entered the room, so my sister was laughing the whole time. Meanwhile I kept looking up at the ceiling trying to figure out where the funny red water was dripping from. Then I figured it out.

I don't think I was afraid of it. I was mostly just fascinated.

So I'm not the only one whose ingested my own blood or is fascinated by it. That's nice to know.

i am naturally afraid of blood if i see blood, death almost always pops up to my mind.
though i can understand that you find it amazing cause it actually is really incredible.

Blood is pretty. It reminds me that I'm alive and healthy when I get a cut and watch the scab slowly start to form. I also like the taste, I have a habit of chewing the inside of my mouth open and sometimes my lips too. It's got to the point now where it barely hurts because I'm used to the sensation. One of my friends expressed concern that I was going to chew a hole right through my cheek, but I do know when to stop so that's never going to happen.
