This thread has been done before. But the world turns turns turns, and here we are again.

SO, what was your first word? And if it wasn't in English, what does it mean in English?

Mine was 'dird'. Which isn't English, but is toddler-speak for 'bird', which I was apparently pointing at at the time.

I was told that my first word was "regurgitate" - I didn't get the joke until much later though...

I asked but it looks like the memory of my first word was lost during the past 22 years. Well, maybe someone will remember later.

My first word was "daddy". I think I was quite a normal baby. Pity it didn't last

They tell me that a few hours after I was born, I woke up and said what sounded like "Iterum", which is the Latin word for "Again".

I have no idea why. I don't even know if their account is true.

My first word was computer. I guess I was planning on being a gamer even as a toddler. My father use to sit me on his knee whilst he worked at it.
