Tattoos are one of the most dynamic forms of self expression and art in existence. I notice folks here are pretty creative and I just wondered if anyone here has tattoos and why they got what they did.

I just got my first 2 days ago.

I'd like more. I don't even need the ink... I just want to feel the gun on my arm again. I should go in there and ask the guy to just doodle on my arm without any ink. :)

I'm so flabbergasted at my father that I'd actually get the 1965 Kinks logo located on my strongest arm right now, if money wasn't a concern.

I can't think of anything I'd want permanently etched on my body. Uncreative? Maybe.

I want to get one but I'm afraid I'd hate it.

I have a thing for skulls. My nephew did this tattoo for me a few years ago.

I have 9 tattoos. I have 2 favorites. The Chinese symbol for complicated/difficult on my back and the roman numeral 8 on my inner left wrist. I'm saving up for a half sleeve atm.

Do you know what you wish to get on your half sleeve?

I have 8 tattoos. I got my first one as an expression of my individuality and curiosity as to what it felt like to get tattooed. I have tried to take really good care of my tattoos. I enjoy having them and knowing that they (what was an ink created in some factory or wherever) is now part of my body in the form of art. I thought about it quite awhile before getting my first tattoo---would I regret it? Well...I guess another question to ask would be, "Would I regret not getting tattooed (if I hadn't got tattooed) someday in the future? At this time, I can say I don't regret getting my tattoos.
