I hate this time of the year when the clocks go back. Why can't they just leave them forward, so we get light for another hour in the afternoon?! Putting the clocks back brings winter even closer.

Can't wait 'til March, when we put the clocks forward. Yayy! :D

It isn't observed in most places outside the vast majority of Europe, most of North America and parts of South America.

Must be a UK thing because ours doesn't happen until November 6th.

Do you work every day? You could always change the clocks whenever you don't need to abide by universal time.

I love it. More darkness, more early. :!:

I am a Fall/Winter person  and abhor Spring/Summer, Heat/light.

I'm glad the time's back to standard time again. (Portable personal suns would still be great.)

And I wish they'd leave it like this and skip all future changing forth and back.

Do you often take long walks in the middle of the night just because you don't feel sleepy?

Nah, I would get murdered. Everyone is a murderer at night. But I would like to do that.

Although it's a nuisance to have to adjust to the new time twice a year, I have to say I look forward to going off DST (not 'til next weekend in the USA). I hate lying in bed twittling my fingers waiting for the sun to come up, and I also hate getting up in the pitch dark. But I can't sleep past 5:30 or 6:00 AM, and I like to start getting things done right away in the morning, so when we go off DST, I get another hour of light, and can get up on time :P . The flip side is, I also dislike having it get dark at 4:30 PM, but I'll take that over getting up in the dark in the morning.
