last night i had a dream that my belt on my trousers broke and got all tangled up.... today when i got up i put on my jeans and fastened up my belt and weirdly my belt broke.

how come dreams have the power too predict these kind off things before they happen?????? is there some supernatural force out there? either that or its a very VERY weird coincedence.

I hold my own "how and why" conclusions rather loosely here, but I have experienced far too many seeming "coincidences" to believe there cannot be anything supernatural or whatever else going on. In my own case, these kinds of things are typically like answers or thoughts or solutions that just show up in my mind while I am waking up on a given day when they will be needed.

So you still have a looooong time to live :) Btw, once my dead gran predicted the death of my uncle in my dream - he was buried on the day of the 1st anniversary of her death 8O

I don't think it's going to predict your future :) I think it was just a dream but then again, if you have prophetic dreams, then you can start worrying - but then again, if anything, 44 years that's still a lot of time :)

I have had several dreams that have come true. One of the oddest was when I was in college I dreamed my grandparents' house caught on fire and damaged the rear right side corner of the house where my grandfather parked his car. Within a week, his car caught on fire and caught the house on fire at the rear right side corner---exactly as I saw it my dream. Also in that dream I saw my grandmother in tears walking up the gravel lane away from the house in semi-darkness. In real life, she was walking up the lane crying at near darkness toward an ambulance to join my grandfather who was suffering breathing problems from the smoke. The dream was as close to 100% accurate as I could imagine it. It was truly like a window to the future. But how is this possible? I don't know.

I do know that to never have a coincidence happen in our lives would be nearly impossible. There has to be coincidences. I know that. So to have a dream come true may just be a coincidence that will happen from time to time. But with my dream, it almost seems beyond coincidence. So I try to stay open-minded to these things. At the same time, the vast majority of my dreams have not come true. If you have a dream that does come true like with the broken belt or my grandparents' house, be assured that bothersome dreams like death probably won't come true as you dreamed it. I think many of us have upsetting dreams like seeing our death. I don't think any of us are supposed to know when our deaths will happen.

my grandmother died of breast cancer at age 66 back in 1997 and i think about her a lot.

do you think that is just why i had a dream about that particular number?

Sure, this night I had a dream, in which I had triplets with names I had thought about before.
