I'll start: My aunt was having trouble with her rebellious, cigarette smoking 10 year old. So, she decided that I should spend my 10th summer with her daughter - auntie hoping that my quiet, reserved nature would calm my cousin. The first night there, my cousin suggested that we bath together to save water. I wasn't happy about this but any bath was better than none at all.....and after a bit......she did it - she took a s**t in the tub....an actual turd was in the bathwater. I told my aunt and I was driven home that very same night - NEVER to return!

In the Summer of 1987, my parents decided that they didn't like my Cockney Accent. Keep in mind that I was raised in Canada, by Canadian parents and I had a Canadian sister. My parents wanted everybody in my family to be exactly the same, so instead of taming my sister's sassy attitude, they decided to shame me into losing my accent. One of the major characteristics of a Cockney accent is the flat, nasal affect. Every time that I opened my mouth to say anything, one of my parents would say, "Don't talk through your nose!" I heard it day in and day out. "Don't talk through your nose!" "You're talking through your nose, again!" "What's your problem! Don't talk though your nose!" "When are you going to stop talking through your nose?"

I got my parents back by trying to tame some of my sister's traits in the same manner. I also got my sister to sing along with me, whenever The Kinks were on the radio, than I'd laugh at her for sounding horrible for those songs, because she didn't have an accent. Once my parents caught on, they stopped trying to rid me of my accent. They apologized to me and I apologized to my sister.

My dad made lunch about six years ago (because my mom told him to), and he made me a hot dog with chips. He also added about six slices of tomato, knowing that I would not eat tomatoes to save my life. He also told me to eat them first or I couldn't have the rest of the food. I probably went a day without eating until my mom finally had enough. This happened a month before he was kicked out.

I was forced to eat normally, to eat some "usual" food. It was just awful for me. It was about 10 years ago, and I never did it again. :<

One of my bullies used to trap me under the stairwell underneath the bathroom during recess. It made me feel very claustrophobic, but every time I tried to escape, he would grab me and start hitting me. I was afraid to tell anyone about it, but my mom noticed that I would come home from school with bruises all over me and she made me tell her about what was going on. She told the playground supervisor and they made sure that the boy quit harassing me.

Not sure about the worst, but certainly on my list:

After school I was walking to the community center, and ran across another kid from school. He had what looked like a kitchen faucet in one hand. As I passed, he apparently swung around and hit me in the back of the head with it. I remember my vision distorting as if someone had wrapped my eyes around a shiny ball. I could tell he was laughing at me, but I couldn't turn around. I was afraid he would hit me again so I tried to run, but I kept falling. My feet didn't work right, and I couldn't tell how far away things were because of what had happened to my vision. When I finally got to the community center I couldn't make words. Everyone looked politely concerned, but I couldn't figure out how to tell them what had happened because I couldn't make words come out. By the time I got home I was nauseous and exhausted. I threw up and went to bed. I think my parents thought I was sick. I have almost no memory of what happened the next day, so I'm pretty sure I never told them what had happened. I'm not sure I was completely conscious. With 20/20 hindsight I realize I was suffering from a pretty serious concussion, and should've been taken to the emergency room. At the time I was too young to know.

I saw that kid years later. He didn't recognize me, and he seemed like a pretty well-adjusted person. I didn't go to mentioning how he'd bludgeoned me because I didn't want him to suddenly turn on me. But it scared me that someone could appear so happy, so nice, and so normal, but be capable of what they'd done to me. I began to suspect every kid around me was equally capable of that kind of violence.

Lots of things but I always remember knocking on the door of one of better friends at the time at least I thought so. He answered the door and smashed a caterpillar into my upper lip. I was picking out spines out of my lip for the next couple of hours, which was much more painful than you probably imagine it is.
