last night shortly before bed I noticed my dog was following something (or someone) around the room. I went in for a closer inspection and there really was nothing there! Eventually she stood frozen to the spot staring at the far corner of the room. After about 5-10 minutes she jumped up on the sofa and hid her head behind a pillow, sporadically lifting her head again and looking at the exact same spot! She didn't seem to be that frightened, but was definitely uncomfortable! I went to bed feeling really spooked! Has anyone else encountered this?

I've always had such a problem believing in anything "other worldly"! What's the spookiest thing you've ever seen? Has anybody ever actually witnessed anything like black magic, witchcraft, apparitions (religious or otherwise) or the supernatural? Anything beyond explanation.

P.S. LSD trips do NOT count!

nothing. Since ghosts, goblins and ghouls don't exist. I'm not afraid and nothing is "spooky" to me.

I've always wanted to have a supernatural encounter but never experienced one. :(

However one of the creepiest things I saw was when I was a little kid and was in the hospital for a stomach virus I had, when I was walking down the hallways I saw a woman with a severed bloody leg. Talk about traumatizing. 8O

I once saw someone with a rabbit. That was pretty spooky.

I saw my own reflection in the window once and didn't recognise that it was me, as it was really dark outside it really did make me jump8O I thought it was the grim reaper. I know it sounds ridiculous.

I was sleeping a couple of weeks ago when i awoke in the middle of the night. I couldn`t move and there was this THING sitting ONTOP of me and i just COULDN`T MOVE i was SCARED LIKE SHIAT. Thinking about it gives me the chills already.

I googled it the day after and they say it is sleep paralyzis(?)

Yeah, that's sleep paralysis. It's kind of a half dream state where your mind is awake but your body isn't yet. It's common to have weird dreams this way (like something sitting on you)

I've had this too! Not for a few years, but it's genuinely terrifying! When you fall alsleep your body locks into a state of paralisis to stop you acting out your dreams, but on these occasions the mind stays awake leaving you trapped in a sort of paralytic nightmare! I always felt a presence and an impending sense of doom. Sometimes i would even hallucinate all mannor of horrors! I've had the chest touching thing going on too and i've no idea what that's all about! Also it only ever seems to happen when you fall alsleep on your back! Mighty wierd!!

a very dirty hairy hippie who was squating on my granddad's land up in canada, my sisters screamed and ran because they thought he was a bear. He was just a draft dodger.

Actual crime scene photos of the double axe murder that occurred next door from the house I grew up in about 100 years prior.
