I'm going to use my Christmas money to buy a digital art program called Paint Tool SAI and a graphics tablet to use with it. My dad says that using better tools will help improve my art. Up until now, I've either been using cheap colored pencils and markers or GIMP to outline and color my work, so that's part of the reason I haven't quite been able to achieve that "professional" quality that I've been striving for. The other part is of course struggling with anatomy and proportions in my drawings, but at least I'm not as bad as I used to be in those regards.
