I'd like your opinions.

personally, I've always logically seen them as mild amusement
but over the last year I've noticed they're seemingly surprisingly accurate towards me and my friends. so fellow Aspie insight would be appreciated :)

I find a lot of personalities similar to when they were born sprinkled with other added variables.

I always categorised that stuff under "New Age Nonsense" in my mind. In an attempt to give it a chance, I've found my "star sign" to be really inaccurate anyway, so to me it's just nonsense.

Astrology has not been proven to have any validity with regard to determining any individual's actions, personality, relationships, or "fortune".

It has been proven, however, to be an enriching resource for those seeking a career in fleecing ignorant and superstitious people out of their hard-earned wages.

Besides being absolute nonsense, it is foremost a multimillion dollar industry. Not a shred of actual scientific evidence supports it

Astrology is to Astronomy what Scientology is to Science

Parse the writing in your horoscope sometime. You'll notice that it's vague, general, and applicable to almost anyone. Further, the supposed "personality traits" are always complimentary - nobody ever writes that those born under the sign of Sagittarius are total as*holes who deserve to die alone, or anything like that.

Further, it may be worth noting that since the "signs" were assigned several thousand years back, precession has caused many of the constellations referenced to not even be in the sky at the moment of birth.

Of course, we Virgos are notoriously skeptical... ;)

general newspaper horoscopes seem t obe nonsense, but a dear friend of mine*** is doing my specific charts and it is shockingly accurate. i read parts of it out to a family member, and he could not believe the person didn't already know certain aspects of my life. but when i read other charts it doesn't sound like me at all.

***he's on the board but i dunno if he advertises his work.
