I'm a Swedish man with a light autism diversity, I have a master degree in political science from Stockholm university.
I've found a wonderful woman living in Belgium, I really love her and want to do all I can to make our relation well-functioning and passionate.
When I'm in my home country I always miss that woman a lot and feel very alone. I'm also frustrated about the Swedish conformist mentality.
So, I want to move to Belgium to start a new life with my great woman.
Now I wonder: How is it to live with autism diversity in Belgium? How is people's understanding of autism diversity in Belgium? What kind of help or special benefits is available for people with autism diversity in Belgium? What help can I get to find a job? I'm open for all jobs at office as long as it's not too social or including selling functions, I hate to try convincing people buying crap I don't believe in myself. I'm willing to learn both Dutch and French so I can communicate with people around me. I'm also willing to take shorter formations in administration, economics or business if it's provided to get an office job. I'm also open to make research in political science (my sub-discipline is political theory) at university. Note that the actual cities is Antwerpen, Brussels or some very nearby city (my woman lives in Antwerpen and work periodically in Brussels).
I'll be very grateful for any help I can get to figure out how to make a good life for me in Belgium.

I live in Belgium right now and i might say something you won't like, stay the hell out of the place. It's probably the most stupid country on earth and the people have such a I DONT GIVE A f**k mindset that you just wanna re-create the Manhattan project and bomb the whole place down to the core of the planet.

END OF RANT, enjoy your stay.

I don't live in Belgium. I've never visited Belgium. Every report that I have heard of Belgium has been negative. These negative reports have come from others living in nations close to Belgium, and from people that fled and moved to the other side of the planet to get away from the place. I kinda need somebody to jump in here and give some positive reports of Belgium so that I can somewhat balance my impression :|

I hope you do your research because changing your country of residency is no small matter...Can't your partner tell you all you need to know?

My best wishes for your future,

Guybrush

I live in Belgium. I'm an airhead when it comes to this, the average parts or bad parts of Belgium. There are nice and positive things about Belgium. I grew up in a wealthy and nice area. Mansions, wealthy people, alot of nature and woods. I lived in a really nice house. Alot of rich dutch people live and moved here. I believe a few years back it got got voted the best and most comfortable town to live in all of Flanders. I think it was spot on. I had a great life and childhood. I went to a great school. I litteraly felt like the happiest child alive. It was amazing growing up here. If you have the money, living here can be great. I'd even say one of the best places in the world.

Now i'm older and out of that lifestyle, i can't wait to get out of this country. I'd only go back here if i have money myself.

So do I 8O
Anyway what Miharu said is correct. Great place to live if you are wealthy, bad place to work. The taxes are ridiculous. I'm leaving this country for the UK to work as soon as I finish university.

Geez!

Maybe that idea I had back in eighth grade geography class wasnt so juvenile after all!

That being: have the Flemish speaking North merge with the Dutch Netherlands.
And have the French speaking South should merge with France, and just erase the country from map.

Put it out of its misery so to speak!

Lol!
