New years Eve

What do you do on New Year's? I personally spend the night eating pizza and watching old comedies, then realizing nothing changed with the clock going over to midnight, since most of the world would already be in 2012, and time is a relative system designed by the human brain to define and organize phenomena, and so on.

I never done anything special for New Years. I had planned to celebrate it with my girlfriend this year but she broke up with me begging of the month

Big family/friends of family/friends party. Food, alcohol, cakes and fireworks. We have panorama view of the capitol, so we can see most of the fireworks for midnight (without sending any ourselves).

I was going to ask but here it is already.

Nothing really. Uptill a few yrs ago I was out partying but when I turned 18 I became less social. I Continue to complete chores like it were any other day or take a break and relax completely if I am on a holiday.

I try to create a partylike atmosphere with colored lights, music, foods I shouldn't eat and bizarre clothing I don't know why I bought in the first place. Towards midnight I go up on the (nearly flat) roof to get a good view of fireworks far and near and to keep a check on the neighbors' potential misbehaviors. Works better for me than an official party.
