Ever wonder which artists might have Asperger's/Autism Syndrome? In all my years of being a Cure fan, I had never watched a Robert Smith interview. He is a very awkward and shy person, and I instantly fell in love and am now a bigger fan than ever! Watch this interview, and feel free to post opinions about him or other musicians or artists that you feel might have the syndrome.

I don't know whether or not if he is but I guess he could be. His movies are certainly filled with themes relatable to AS people and the importance he puts on set design are indicative. I know I liked the Talking Heads before I looked up David Byrne's personal life because the themes and style in their music spoke to me.

I dont know anything about the personal life of Brent from Shinedown, but as a schizophrenic I can totally relate to almost every song on every album.

@NathanealWest: I know what you mean, other bizzarre forms of music have always appealed to me, one of them being Talking Heads. Anything weird really, I love: Weird Al, Oingo Boingo, Mr. Bungle, etc!

@dmc68: I need to check out more Shinedown songs, I like the ones I've heard so far. Is the singer Schizophrenic?

Manic Minx Go listen to Burning Bright, Fly From the Inside and Sound of Madness and Save Me (Save me is about drug addiction but it will still make sense), you will totally understand what I mean.

No problem, in addition "I believe"
Neil Peart, from Rush (the drummer who also wrote almost all their stuff)
Damon Albam, from Gorillaz<(which I 'm listening to right now)

It wouldn't suprise me if David Byrne from Talking Heads was either(couldn't find where it's confirmed)

After I figured out I'm aspie and looked into it a bit the names that suprised me were
Einstien, Tesla, Ford, Alexander Graham Bell, Benjamin Franklin, DaVinci

Feels good to find out that many artists and important people have or may have Asperger's doesn't it? 8)

I've often wondered about Steve Vai and Moby possibly being aspies.
