I've recently noticed that on a lot of my posts, I keep putting in some kind of variation on the phrase "sorry, but I had to say this stuff" at the end, after a post i feel is rambling and potentially off-putting. (I just had to say this, there, it happened again.)

I apologize to people all the time for things I say or my actions because I have no idea if I am doing the wrong thing or saying the wrong thing.

It's nice to be nice.

The people who really should apologise practically never do.

I think it's good that you do that. I have a little habit as well. I use the cool smiley 8) when I want to avoid conflict.

Sorry, but I have to say it doesn't annoy me at all.
