I hate it when people think I can read minds. If people do not specify on what I should and should not be doing, than I do not know what I should be doing.

I was told to "rinse off the dishes and put them in the dishwasher" until we got more dishwasher soap. So in that context I rinsed off the dishes, put them in the dishwasher, and turned it on. Apparently I was not supposed to do that... I was apparently supposed to wash them myself with soap and water... -_-

Sigh... I lack what NT's call "common sense"... even though even in the NT world it isn't all that common.

Yeah, my family gets upset when I don't do things they never asked me to do. Apparently, I should be able to do it without being told.

We aspies do things exactly the way we're told, no room for own interpretation. That's about as sensible as it gets. It's not just us who aren't always able to grasp what an NT wants, even NTs themselves frequently misunderstand each other. On the other hand, aspies usually understand one another completely because there's no hidden meaning in what we're trying to say. Conclusion: NTs lack common sense, not us.
