Just because of curiosity and even that it tells more about you then about cats.

I'd trust a cat to act like a cat.

Same as I'd trust a human to act like a human.

There's quite a bit of variety possible within those limits, though.

Most cats I've met have been very friendly to me, one or two have been unfriendly through being nervous, and one or two unfriendly through being aggressive or over-playful (well meaning, but the scratches still hurt). So for detail, you need to know the cat. But broadly I expect cat behaviour from a cat and I'm not usually disappointed.

But then I'm not a mouse.

I trust a cat to be a cat.

I have never had pets before. We got two kittens this past spring.

One of them comes running as soon as my daughter (aspie) raises her voice or gets tense / anxious, he will come right up to her nuzzle in and start stroking her face gently with his paws. I have never ever seen anything like it. He is amazing and the best meltdown help I could ever imagine. I will trust him!

The science-fiction movie?  Yes.  What about it?

Don't you remember the cat? But of course you may have looked into that flash pen thing several times ... 8O

If there's one thing that makes me happy when I wake up to face yet another day, it's my cat Mischief. I can always trust him to be laying there right next to me, ready for cuddles and pets. I've met some pretty sweet and friendly cats in my life, but none quite my little Mischief. Maybe I should have named him Friendly. :)

Truth.
Relate to cats appropriately and they will relate to you.

I trust cats.

They're honest.

They're bad with personal space of someone they like though. They will knock into whatever you're doing and demand attention.

But you know where you are with 99% of cats.

I trust cats to be unpredictable & very inconsistent. Some people think that cats are like Aspies but me & my girlfriend both think cats are more like ADHD instead. She grew up with lots of cats around & lots of her family members have cats.

My family and I have been taking care of a street cat for the past 3-4 years.

The cat acts like a typical cat and never gets into fights with the family dog, a Beagle.
