I waked my dogs about 2:30 AM in light rain. I was walking to this shopping center that
we could get under and walk. One dog got caught on a metal pole. I unhooked the cable
from me to free them, but they slid down a wet concrete slope into weeds. I walked around thinking they would still be stuck in the weeds but they took off at full speed.
I ran and never saw them. Finally at the end of the road I see them. I run as fast as I can but when I get around the corner they are no where. I look for about 45 minutes
and then walk home and get my bike. I ride many miles till about 5:30 AM. Stopped talked to this black guy I saw out but he saw nothing. I came back home to dry out. I
am soaked. My glasses got wet so my long range vision was useless. They will never smell there way home in the rain. Two big dogs are connected on like a 15 foot cable a
puppy is running free(I let him off the lease alot because the big dogs choak him).

I going to try to find some stimulants so I get back out and look none stop till 9:30 AM
when my sister wakes up and will ask will she drive me around to look for them. If that
fails I will call the animal control later. :(

We had just started our walk and they can cover 5 miles and not even be tired so they
could be anywhere. I got my shoes drying by an electric heater then I will go look again.

I left about 6:15 am and rode till I got back at 8:05 AM. My leg are sore and I got
completely soaked. Who knows I could have drove past them. I bet they are under someone house. I fear the puppy is bound to get run over. No way am I going to find
them on my bike.

I tried to tell myself I did not care, but I am depressed and I must care. Playing
Beethovan's Moonlight reminds me of the movie of the USSR submarine
that reactors coolant line breaks. Men had to put themselves at risk to prevent a melt-down. Which got me thinking even though I am very tire I need to go back out on my bike and keep looking.

You should call the animal shelter and ask if they were picked up. Ask local stores if they will put flyers up asking if anyone has seen them. Animals have ways of finding they're way home using the earths magnetic poles. Sometimes they can find they're way home from hundreds of miles away. I will say a prayer that you dogs are safe.

I continued to look on my bike in the rain till 10:30 AM then my sister meet me on the
road (I left an instant message to her explaining what happen and where I would be) We
drove around for a few hours then we took a brake and repeated the process. We did
goto the Animal Control in person and made a report. While there the dispatcher
lady there said they just got a report of dogs behide a fence (near where I last saw them)
but when we got there we saw no signs of them. I'm hopefull the Animal Control people
will find them when they get a phone tip.

I noticed a sign on a telephone pole for a missing dog :(. We ask the mail man, trash man,
electric meter reader and a number of people had they saw them. Most saw "a black
dog" and none of my dogs are black.

I've not been a sleep in 20 hours combined with all the exercise I am very tire. I can not sleep. My plan is when ever I wake up to look again. Then around 10 AM when my
sister is up goto the animal control office and see if they are there or had reports. Then
look in the car for them or bring them home. The normally sleep in the day and or
awake at night so I hope I am up when its still dark and its not raining.

I really hope you find them. I've always found mine. They get away a lot, but never go far.

I slept 4 hours and woke up at 3:00 AM then left on my bike at 3:30 AM got back 5:45 AM . I'm sore all over. If I had morphine for the pain and dextro-methamphetamine for
energy I could keep going but I do not.

I saw quite a few stray dogs but not mine. It was not raining but the fog was bad and seemed to get worst. I guess the best thing is to eat some food and try to sleep more
and ride my bike to my sister tommorrow around 10 AM(oh God I do not want to get
on that bike again!)

Did you take the rain into account? I mean, a dark brown coat looks black when wet.
