Just from being in the same school district as the other people for all those years I could recognize a lot of people at my school. Almost all the kids who had 3.9 or 4.0 gpa's were in the gifted program so just by that wouldn't that mean that it works?

One of my classes had about 18 people in it. about half of them qualified as "gifted". Generally the smart kids at school qualified for the gifted program.

technically i tested on the lower end of "gifted" but nevertheless i did poorly in school compared with the other gifted students. never was i a 4.0 achiever, or even a 3.0 achiever. in fact, instead of gifted or accelerated cources i was in special ed a good deal of the time.
