That the only person I could be partnered with would be a music critic. I don't know anyone else (around *here* where I live, I'm not trying to offend anyone) who likes the type of 'special interest' music I listen to, and then goes and listens to common demeanour music as well. It seems like the perfect solution, if only.

Classical (I listen to the radio though, so I rarely know what I'm listening to)
Post-punk
The Velvet Underground (a very recent interest)

I have a music interest too and feel the same way. I wouldn't want a music critic because many of them are pretentious as*holes.
I could only be with a person that feels the same way about music as me. They would have to have similar tastes and passion.
