Comparing images/feelings with sounds and vice versa

One of my friends thought it was weird, but I thought everybody did this: Whenever my arm/leg is asleep, I have to think about the white noise on television (both the image and sound). When I have my eyes closed and hear a sudden, loud sound, I see everything turning white for a fraction of a second. When I come across a flashing picture like this one: Click, I kinda hear/imagine a 'kchi kcha kchu kchoo' repeating with the image.
Who has this too, and more examples? Who's got an explanation for it? It's kinda weird/fun to look at it
