Don't you hate it when?

Your skimming a page and you spot a word that catches your eye, but then you realize that you have to find it again to see what exactly the word was? Or something like that. It happens often and It's friggin' annoying. It's like, "WHAT WAS THAT WORD?!" or "I know what that word was, but I have to look at it annyway." Then spend seconds, sometimes minutes looking for it.

THIS. I actually was skimming down a page one time and I saw, "Something, something, something, banana with something." And I was like. "WHAT DID THAT SAY?!"

Edit: Especially if the word is hiding in a large wall of text and you sort of know what the word is.

OMG

That happens to me a lot, when I find it in the corner of my eye but then I can't place where exactly it was. And it's worse when you find it and it just looks similar to the word you thought it was. Pretty annoying =O

YES I do! I also hate it when you search something in a search engine and you see something that looks interesting in the little box below the results so you click on the result and you cannot find where the little text that looked interesting is and everything else is unrelated. It is even WORSE when what you THOUGHT was interesting turns out not to be so interesting after all.

Anyway, back to the OP's post, yes, especially on long pages.

Someone should make a "Don't You Hate It When..." thread where people can post the little annoying things that drive them insane. Or is there already a thread like that?
