Do you have trouble when people don't follow a conversation

Do you have trouble when people don't follow a conversational topic? I'm not talking about someone not wanting to talk about something specific, I just wonder if people on WP have trouble talking to someone who is easily distracted, and do you get meltdowns from it?

I've never had a meltdown from it but I can get really frustrated, especially if I'm interested in the original topic.
