why was the forum recreated (or rather resurrected?)

I went to the site and I really like the appearance...gentle on my eyes somehow?

But...but...is there a central theme for the forum?

That place seems to have history. How is it?

I don't really know the history but ZOMG was created some time ago & got big but it 'died' somehow. Mostly, probably due to Adam having a lot of other stuff on in his life, to add to the usual forum dramas that do seem to happen. Anyway, he was asked to start it up again & obviously thinks it's worth it. Don't know what was meant by 'central theme' for the place, for that question, sorry?

The colour scheme is repulsive. I couldn't look further than that.

Well, quite a few people in other forums think that of WP's color scheme, sorry. It can be changed; I'd hoped Adam would put it in the main page, but it's in the profile settings, after registering (like plenty of places). If it does get going again, he's planning to change server or whatever, maybe then'd be a better time to tweak that more; I'll post any such updates here, for any interested parties!

i think ZOMG led to I^2, didn't it? so i am curious why it is necessary to resurrect it because I^2 hasn't gone anywhere. how will this forum be different?

Well, you really need to ask Adam himself? Sorry! I really don't know all the history; some people, at least, wanted it doing & Adam agreed is all I'm saying, here; go & look for yourself, if you want to compare them. This is just to let people know ZOMG is back (think of it as a new forum, if that's easier.)

how come you are here telling us about it instead of Adam?

I'll be sticking with the original and the greatest. WP has always been a good site for me.

That's great, too! I'm sure I^2 was B4 ZOMG, though (at least, according to Odeon, the 'replacement despot' of the former...) For whatever reasons, I seem to fit in better on those 2 than here but then I'm just weird!

I'll probably sign up there when I feel like it but I lurk there for now. Adam is a banned member here who has had many accounts. I dunno if he is active here now or not or if he was unbanned under his last account.

I2 was created before Zomg because I2 was around in 2006 and Zomg was created in summer of 2007.
