I just wanted to clarify something about a PM I received. I'm 51, happily married with a grown son and another quickly growing one. I like to comment often in the Love & Dating section because that was the area that was most confusing for me when I was a teen and young adult. I still have many unresolved issues from "way back when" and I'm beginning to understand things about my life. I still feel a need for explanations as to why certain things happened to me. The perpetrators are not around to explain their actions (not that they would) so I have to find the answers myself. It feels good to finally resolve some issues and to feel as though you mattered nonetheless. Believe me, there are those out there SO incredibly cold as to kill you either spiritually or physically without even batting an eyelash. Unfortunately, some of them are even on the spectrum. I put up with a lot of s**t and lost a lot of cash during a time in my life when I shouldn't been enjoying life at its fullest. I don't want to see that happen to any of you. You don't deserve pain just because you're different. You deserve respect for being truly unique.
