For far too long I've sat idly by, twiddling my thumbs and respecting the right of others to form thoughts and opinions independent of my own, and I can't take it anymore. I've got to speak up about the many things that annoy me or I'm going to go crazy

Great article! Not my type of humor, but I can definitely appreciate the point it was trying to make. I'll keep it in mind the next time people try to make fun of something I enjoy.

That should be replaced with "has broad appeal and is too popular and mainstream", because that seems to be a more common reason for hating something than it not being popular enough. In fact, it seems like the less popular something is, the cooler it is. Or maybe it just seems that way because the less people are aware of something, the fewer critics it has. :scratch:
