Enjoying it?

When I feel a bit hungry I sort of enjoy the feeling. I don't like it when I get too hungry and I started feeling pain and a sick feeling, but I like it when I feel like my stomach is just a bit empty and starts to rumble a bit. It's mildly uncomfortable still but not in a bad way, if that makes sense? I suppose I just feel lighter and a little more 'on edge'. I don't know.... Could it be some sort of primal instinct making me feel more energetic for a while in order to allow me to gain more food? Just a thought....

Anyone else enjoy the feeling of hunger?

I think I need to learn to feel hungry. I used to like to fast for a day and it does make you feel more in control of your body functions. Now, it seems like I don't eat lunch around noon because of other priorities that my tummy will begin rumbling uncontrollably around two to where other people can hear it. Strangely, that is somewhat embarrassing.

It makes some sense that your body and mind would redirect your energy levels and neurotransmitter profile towards heightening the senses and preparing the muscles in order to maximize your chances of obtaining food, particularly if you're a predator. Everyone knows about fight vs. flight during danger, I don't see why the human being wouldn't have adapted a similar strategy to being on the other side of the coin- being the killer in order to eat.

I don't feel hunger. I feel starvation.
