I have 5 school assignments due this week. So of course, I just spent the last 3 hours on Wikipedia reading about wild mushrooms. :? I don't understand my own mind sometimes.

Anyway, seeing as I'm not about to do anything productive at this moment, I'd like to hear about some of your Wikipedia journeys.

What page did you start on? Where did you end up? Did you learn anything interesting?

I"m bad about using Wikipedia. If somebody talks about something, I will usually look it up. Of course that can go to my wanting to learn about everything I come across (I blame my Aspie on that). It does give you good information and you can also find sources there.

Years ago when I first discovered it, I think I was online for two solid days. I constantly think of things I want to look up and if I'm not near the computer, I write them down. I get on there and read about one thing then go to a related topic that it's linked to, or something within the article, etc etc etc.

I admit that I am a Wikiholic and I have no control over Wikipedia.

Well, that was the first step.

What you think about Creative Thinking. Rather than Critical Thinking

That's how I fly all over the place. Thinking of eating a mushroom, to pep you up j/king by the way.

Well, first one that comes to mind is reading about bones, and I ended up on an article about Aspergers syndrome, 6 months later I was diagnosed as an aspie.
