What Historical Figure Do You Idolize?

I have hundreds but to narrow it down I would have to go with these three.

- Carl Jung

- Dr. Arthur T Myers

- Socrates

Queen Isabel I of Castile. She drove the Moors out of Spain, and conquered the city of Granada. She was a warrior queen. Her youngest daughter was Catherine of Aragon, Henry VIII's first wife. Another of her daughters was Juana the Mad, who was the mother of Charles I of Spain. And, of course, as everyone knows she funded Columbus's expedition.

John D. Carmack, Real Programmer. Still alive, sure, but his feats of hacking in the 90s are history enough for me.

Johnny Carson. His job had to be the most interesting, challenging and fun position ever.

Bob Sagat. I imagine he sits at home pissed off about the Olsen twins.

Pasteur was pretty cool. Hunter Thompson, Rosalind Franklin, Teddy Roosevelt are interesting people.
I don't really idolize anyone, but I find 'seekers of truth' to be interesting people.
